A Simple Protection Breathing Exercise

Take in a slow deep breath through your nose pushing your abdomen OUT as you inhale, the slowly exhale through your nose pressing your abdomen IN as if you are crushing your navel against your spine.- Repeat twice in same fashion.
- Take one slow deep inhalation through your nose in the same fashion of the three prior cleansing breaths, except this time visualize your body filling with a clear bright light or illumination from the soles of your feet to the top of your head. Exhale through your nose and imagine a mental shield of strong, positive energy enveloping your body that will serve you as mental and physical protection.
By doing this procedure you have called upon the central energy centers that the Chinese call your upper dantien [third eye are] and lower dantien [about two or three fingers below the naval], focus should be paid towards the lower dantien. This is also a technique in Qigong, Falun Dafa and other such energy systems. This also opens up all the psychic centers [aka chakras] or channels particularly on the visualization on the last breath.
