Marshmallow Root: The Herbal Prilosec

MARSHMALLOW ROOT (Marshmallow Root Glycerite Tincture)

The high mucilage content of Marshmallow makes an excellent demulcent (a substance that is used to soothe irritated or inflamed skin or internal parts of the nose, mouth, or throat) that can be used where such properties are called for. The root of marshmallow is used primarily for digestive problems and on the skin, whilst the leaf is used for the lungs and the urinary system. This tincture contains both leaf and root.
