The Mel Meter Model 8704 is an intelligent microprocessor based instrument specifically designed for paranormal investigators and enthusiasts. The exclusive “Night View” display was designed to permit clear and easy display viewing of the EMF and Temperature values in total darkness up to 15 feet away. Try to find a “clean” area free of any potential interference from extraneous EMF sources. This Instrument is not affected by cell phones, text messages and RF transmitting devices like the KII and Gauss Master.
The large, clear display shows EMF and ambient temperature simultaneously to provide the user with a direct correlation between EMF and temperature change in the surrounding area. This is the only meter that can do this! If you’re a fan of paranormal shows on TV, you’ll notice that during investigations, invesigators will often encounter an EMF change which is usually followed by a significant temperature drop. The EMF “Burst Mode” feature allocates 100% of the micro-processors scan speed to monitor dynamic EMF changes. The display can update so quickly that your eyes will barley be able to keep up with it. If something is on the move, this feature can be activated with the push of a button. The “Record” function works great in this mode because it can capture the minimum and maximum measured values.

Yes!! I own and use this Model MelMeter on investigations. The meter showed temperature fluctations at the same time as the EMF spiked, and meanwhile we were getting EVPs on our digital audio equipment. It’s amazing–it’s just not REAL until you are there, on an investigation…you know there is nobody else present (alive/human anyhow) besides the members of your team, all of whom are being quiet…and you get voices on your recording, answering your questions. You KNOW the evidence hasn’t been tampered with, because YOU are the only one who has touched it. It is then you know…there IS something out there!!
Have you ever heard of Old Alton Bridge. This is a little bit of the legends of the Goatman’s bridge.
There have been several disappearances on and around Old Alton Bridge. Most notably, one that occurred November 15th 1967. The Denton newspaper at the time did an article on a mustang found abandoned on the bridge and there were lots of people that reported other missing persons linked to the Goatman’s bridge and the Goat man.
The story is that Klansmen raided the house of the Goatman, Oscar Washburn, and killed his family after attempting to lynch him over the side. The legend says that he disappeared over the side and now attacks anyone who crosses the bridge at night in an effort to protect his family.
