Botanical name: Rubus idaeus
Common name: Raspberry, Red Raspberry
Habitat: Red Raspberry bushes are native to North America and are cultivated in Canada
Info: Raspberry is a good astringent remedy and useful in formulas for children’s diarrhea. The herbs most famous application and traditional herbalism and midwives is preparing mothers to be for childbirth. Raspberry leaf appears to tone the uterine and pelvic muscles.
Personal info: My daughter just recently delivered a healthy baby boy and drank the tea throughout the pregnancy and continued to drink the tea after childbirth. Her healing is miraculous. The constituents that affect the smooth muscles, such as the uterus have been clearly identified.
Constituents: tannins, fruit, sugars, citric and malic acid, vitamins, A,B,C and E, pectin, volatile oil, iron, calcium and phosphorus
Properties: Hemostatic, astringent, mild alterative, parturient
